Staying close to people who make your insides feel their best was a lesson I didn’t learn until… 40? I am now talking about this idea all the time with my kids as they navigate friendships. Finding “your people” and being willing to distance from anyone else feels like freedom — it’s the exact birds & bridges balance I’m always looking for. Here, the horses, fish, and celestial beings are all finally together.

This smaller piece is in a uniquely bobbled frame. The bold blue background is a hopeful reminder of the bravery of true vulnerability and connection.
